A quick update to our earlier post about the recent critical vulnerability (MS08-078) in all available versions of Internet Explorer - Microsoft has released a patch for the vulnerability. More information, including the patch, can be found here.
There have been a number of reports citing thousands of websites (both intentionally malicious and legitimate but compromised) exploiting this vulnerability. You can read more at BBC and The Register.
All users are strongly encouraged to download and apply the patch without delay.
