Nicht schlecht staunte ich heute morgen, nachdem ich meinen mail-account bei yahoo geöffnet hatte. Da sprang mir ein "Advertisement" (je nach Seitenaufruf gab es vier Versionen, s. attachments) ins Auge, das mit dem Satz "Gleiche Chancen für alle - 50.000 Personen erhalten eine Green Card!" warb.

Je nach Anzeige konnte man u.a.

• sich einfach online anmelden ("Greencard auf Lebenszeit");
• testen, ob man für den Gewinn einer Arbeitserlaubnis in Frage käme;
• gratis prüfen, ob man für das Programm in Frage käme.

Obwohl mir persönlich Italien, Polen und Frankreich "näher stehen", habe ich trotzdem einmal "Klick" gemacht. :holy:

Level 3 Communications, Inc. was originally founded in 1985 as Kiewit Diversified Group Inc. (KDG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc. The company continues to determine the strategic fit of these investments in providing a full range of services in the United States and abroad over an IP based communications network.

In February 2003, Level 3 acquired substantially all of the assets of Genuity. Prior to a transaction and subsequent spin-off involving its former parent company GTE, the Internet business that would later be identified as Genuity was called BBN (Bolt, Beranek, and Newman). BBN built the original Internet, invented the e-mail protocol and "@" symbol, and in 1971, sent the world's first e-mail message.
